Name: Drought is on going in Brazil
Start: Wed, 21 Sep 2022 00:00:00 GMT
Location: Brazil

The Drought notification level is Green.

In plain language

Parts of Brazil are currently going through a drought because there has not been enough rain. Officials are watching the situation closely, but the current alert level is low.

What is a drought? A drought happens when a region goes a long time without enough rain or snow. This can be caused by changes in weather patterns or ocean temperatures that move rain clouds away. Without enough precipitation, the soil dries out and water levels in lakes and rivers begin to fall.

Save water at home by taking shorter showers and turning off the tap while brushing your teeth to help your community.
